The Melexis MLX90614ESF-BAA Infrared Temperature Sensor allows you to take accurate measurements covering a wide range (up to 382.2 °C!), with a narrow margin of error of +/-0.5 °C for readings at room temperature. The sensor offers two possible communication interfaces: SMBus (by default) and 10-bit PWM output. For all frequencies below 100 kHz, the SMBus is also compatible with the I2C interface. An Adblue concentration sensor supports monitoring of the Adblue tank in order to avoid refuelling with water, diesel or incorrect Adblue concentration. Sensirion's flow sensor is a semiconductor MEMS version of the traditional hot wire anemometer.
The TPA81 is a thermopile array detecting infra-red in the 2um-22um range. It has eight thermopiles arranged in a row and can measure the absolute temperature of 8 adjacent points simultaneously. Measurements are in Celsius. It can detect a candle flame from up to 2 meters away. To use a temperature sensor in a control or compensation circuit, the detection circuit must provide an output in a usable format. For analog circuits , the output is usually a resistance. For digital control and compensation, the measurement needs to be converted to a digital format for processing by an MCU. It's related to the Paparazzi sensors, but optimized for Arduino. They will not work with the current ArduPilot, which is designed to work with the FMA Co-Pilot, but instead are designed for a future ArduPilot board. So why are we showing them to you now?
